The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ are now official, and just like their Note 20 counterparts, there are some differences between the two new tablets that you should be aware of. The Tab S7+ has a larger 12.4-inch 2800×1752 Super AMOLED display while the non-Plus Tab S7 gets an 11-inch 2560×1600 LCD. Both displays do support up to 120Hz refresh rates, though.
Another difference with the two tablets is battery size. The Tab S7+ has gotten a bigger 10,090mAh battery to help power its larger display, while the regular Tab S7 has an 8,000mAh battery. Samsung has included 45W wired fast charging support in both models to help you fill those big batteries more quickly.
Finally, while both tablets have a fingerprint reader, the Tab S7+’s is built into the display while the Tab S7’s is on the side of its body.
The rest of the feature lists of these two new Galaxy tablet are fairly similar. Both have an included S Pen stylus that Samsung says has similar capabilities to the S Pen that comes with the Note 20 phones. When you’re not using the S Pen with your Tab S7 or S7+, you can stash it on the back of your tablet.
Also on the back of both the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ is a dual camera setup that includes a 13MP main cam and a 5MP ultra wide snapper. The tablets each have an 8MP selfie camera around front, too.
Both the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ come with a Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, 6 or 8GB of RAM, and 128 or 256GB of built-in storage. Both also have a microSD card slot to let you add up to 1TB of additional storage. There are quad speakers on both models that’ve been tuned by AKG and include Dolby Atmos support.
To help you be more productive on the go, Samsung will offer a Book Cover Keyboard accessory for both the Tab S7 and Tab S7+.
The Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+ will both come in Mystic Bronze, Mystic Black, and Mystic Silver color options. Wi-Fi and 5G-enabled models will also be available. Pricing for the Tab S7 will start at $649.99 while the larger Tab S7+ will start at $849.99. Both tablets will be available starting August 21.
