Moto E6 Plus upgrades include bigger display and dual rear cameras

Moto E6 Plus official

The Moto E6 is getting Plus-ed.

Motorola today announced the Moto E6 Plus, which features several upgrades over the non-Plus model that was announced back in July. The Moto E6 Plus has slimmer bezels than the standard Moto E6 as well as a larger 6.1-inch 1560×720 display. At the top of that screen is a waterdrop notch that houses an 8MP selfie camera.

Around back is a dual camera setup, up from the single rear cam on the regular Moto E6. The Moto E6 Plus includes a 13MP main camera with a large 1.12µm pixel size and f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor to help you capture portrait mode shots.

The Moto E6 Plus includes both a rear fingerprint reader and face unlock, giving you options for deciding how you’d like to unlock your phone, and the 3000mAh is removable, which is a feature we don’t see much in smartphones nowadays. Also packed inside the Moto E6 Plus is a 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and a microSD card slot.

Motorola will launch the Moto E6 Plus with Android 9 Pie, which offers a “bloatware-free experience”, and it’s available in Latin America starting today. It’ll also make its way to Europe later this month for €139 EUR ($153 USD).
