OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T specs reportedly leak out

OnePlus 7T Pro renders

Following renders that showed the designs of the OnePlus 7T Pro and OnePlus 7T last month, spec lists for both of OnePlus’s upcoming handsets have now leaked out.

Both the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro will be upgraded to Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, according to OnLeaks and Compareraja. The Snapdragon 855 Plus offers a higher CPU clock speed than the Snapdragon 855 found in the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, as well as increased GPU performance.

Both phones are also expected to come with triple rear camera setups. While the OnePlus 7T Pro’s three rear cameras will remain largely unchanged from the non-T model, the OnePlus 7T will be changed up. It’ll reportedly include a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom and 16MP wide angle camera with 120-degree field of view in addition to the 48MP main camera that the OnePlus 7 had.

OnePlus is expected to give the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro 8GB of RAM, with the 7T getting 128GB and 256GB storage options while the 7T Pro will have 256GB of storage. The display on the OnePlus 7T will reportedly be a 6.55-inch 2400×1080 Fluid AMOLED screen, up from the 6.41-inch display on the OnePlus 7, while the OnePlus 7T Pro’s display will remain similar to the OnePlus 7 Pro 6.65-inch screen.

Another notable upgrade for these “T” phones include slightly bigger batteries, with the OnePlus 7T getting bumped up to a 3800mAh battery and the OnePlus 7T Pro getting a 4085mAh battery.

Finally, both phones are expected to ship with Android 10 running below OnePlus’s OxygenOS user interface.

OnePlus’s T phones typically aren’t huge upgrades over their non-T counterparts, and it looks like that’ll be the case again this year. The one exception could be the OnePlus 7T’s cameras, which will reportedly add telephoto and ultra-wide rear snappers and would make it much closer to the OnePlus 7T Pro than the OP7 was to the OP7 Pro. The inclusion of Android 10 would be nice as well since it just launched earlier this month.

Today’s report hints that the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro could be announced on October 10, so we may be less than one month away from their official introduction. Based on their leaked specs and designs, are you interested in one of OnePlus’s “T” phones?
