Verizon video service and carrier bloatware app Go90 is shutting down, the company has announced. The service’s programming, like Megyn Kelly-produced political comedy “Embeds,” and “Top Grier,” starring social media star Hayes Grier, failed to achieve scaled distribution, Verizon said.
Oath CEO Tim Armstrong said in February that Go90 would eventually shut down, noting that its content was already being distributed across other Oath properties. Viewership of Go90 content reached about 17 million unique monthly viewers at its peak.
